This Data Deletion Policy explains how users and customers can request deletion of their personal data from MustChat systems.

For this policy, “MustChat,” “we,” “us,” or “our” refers to Aasman Digitals, the company operating the MustChat platform.

You may request deletion of:

  • Login credentials

2.2 Business and CRM Data

  • Customer contacts uploaded into CRM
  • WhatsApp chat history (where stored in system)
  • Broadcast lists
  • Tags, notes, and lead data
  • Custom fields and automation data

2.3 Usage Data

  • Activity logs (where applicable)
  • Device and session data (limited retention may apply for security)

3. Important Limitations

Please note:

  • Some data may be retained for legal, tax, or security purposes
  • Backup systems may retain data for a limited period before automatic deletion
  • Data shared with third-party tools (e.g., WhatsApp, Meta, integrations) may be subject to their own retention policies
  • Messages already delivered to WhatsApp users cannot be removed from WhatsApp servers

4. How to Request Data Deletion

You can request deletion using any of the following methods:

Option 1: Email Request (Recommended)

Option 2: In-App Request

If available inside the dashboard:

Settings → Account → Delete Account

5. Verification Process

For security reasons, we may:

  • Verify ownership of the account
  • Request identity confirmation
  • Confirm business authorization (for team accounts)

This is to prevent unauthorized deletion requests.

6. Processing Time

Once verified:

  • Account deletion is typically processed within 7–30 days
  • Some backups may take additional time to fully purge

7. What Happens After Deletion

After successful deletion:

  • Your MustChat account will be permanently disabled
  • CRM data, contacts, and workflows will be removed
  • Access to https://app.mustchat.in/ will be revoked
  • Data cannot be restored after final deletion

8. Third-Party Data

If your data has been shared with or processed through:

  • WhatsApp / Meta
  • Google Sheets / CRM integrations
  • Payment gateways
  • Automation tools (Zapier, etc.)

You may need to request deletion separately from those providers.

9. Legal & Compliance Retention

We may retain limited information if required for:

  • Legal obligations
  • Fraud prevention
  • Accounting or tax compliance
  • Dispute resolution

Such data will be securely stored and not used for active processing.
